Message to all NGDOs who work with children in health programs

Hello to all our friends of NGDOs who work in Development Cooperation Programs in the area of pedriatric health.

In Infancia Solidaria we have been working for the past three years for the children in developing countries who need surgical treatment and cannot get it in their own country.( We make reference to any country in the world without limitations )

We offer to help with the children that come to your clinics, hospitals, health centers…, requiring surgical treatment and who you can not help because of lack of human or technical resources in the country. (With the exception of organ transplant and cochlear implants which we are not permitted due to the waiting list in Spain and to the cost of such operations respectively.)

We take responsibility for finding doctors/surgeons in Spain who will accept the case (beforehand we will ask you to send us the local medical report of the child in Spanish, French or English. Children must be diagnosed. Unfortunately we can not bring children to be diagnosed in Spain . ) and for requesting authorization from the Ministry of Health in Madrid (until now we have worked only in Madrid but will start soon to work in other communities).We will cover the airfare expenses (roundtrip) of both mother and child, we will find a foster family in Spain that offers accommodations and meals and we will help with the requirements from our Embassies by sending you all documents necessary for the granting of visas.

It is important for you to know that you must send, together with the child's clinical report, a document signed and sealed by a country's official health authority when possible, and if not, by any local hospital certifying that the surgery that the child needs can not be performed in that country. We insist that the document must have the hospital logo, doctor's name, signature and stamp.
